CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM WITH AMBODE FOR THE PEACE OF LAGOS STATE

Baba Adinni of Lagos, Sheik Abdul Hafeez Abu (left); Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs) Idiat Adebule; Governor, Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode; Commissioner of Home Affairs; Dr. AbdulLateef AbdulHakeem; CAN President, Lagos Chapter, Apostle Alexander Bamgbola; Prof. Abdul-Lateef Adetona; Dr. Kehinde Babarinde at the inter-faith parley last Tuesday in Lagos

Development can only come in an atmosphere where peace reigns. This is why many scholars often believe that development and peace are Siamese twins. It is for reason that it is argued that any community and society that seeks development must promote peace within its domain.

The psychology of peace being critical to development also rules the thought flow of Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. This was evident when he hosted an Inter-Faith Parley of Religious Leaders and Organisations in Lagos recently. No wonder, Ambode was excited that two years after he assumed duty at the governor of the Centre of Excellence, there has not been religious crisis in the state. And because there are no religious crises, it has allowed his government to think right which, no doubt, has given room to accomplish some of the developmental strides the state is recording.

The parley, which had clerics from both Christian and Muslim faith in attendance, saw both sitting side by side without any qualms. Entertainers from both sides were also invited to spice the event and the performances raked in wide applause from the congregation.

D-8 AND ISLAMIC AGENDA

WHY BUHARI WENT TO TURKEY BY JOSEPH OKECHUKWU.

Nigeria's president, Muhammadu Buhari recently flew out to Istanbul for the D-8 meeting. I wonder how many Nigerians understand the meaning of D-8? In the Nigerian media, you see something like "Developing 8" and yes, it's also known as "Developing 8" but what "Developing 8"?

These days, they don't like to call it what it is. It is actually an organization of 8 Developing Muslim, yes, Muslim nations. Very specific. Currently, countries that make up D-8 are  Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey. Do you get the drift yet? Nigeria named amongst hardcore Islamic nations! And if you think this is some kind of regular, harmless bilateral or diplomatic relations, read below the history of the D-8.

HISTORY

"The idea of co-operation among major Muslim developing countries was mooted by Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan, the then Prime Minister of Turkey, during a Seminar on "Cooperation in Development" which was held in Istanbul in October 1996. The group envisioned co-operation among countries stretching from South East Asia to Africa. Representatives from Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria and Pakistan attended the Seminar. This conference was the first step towards the establishment of D-8 and it was only after a series of preparatory meetings that D-8 was set up officially and began its activities with the Istanbul Declaration issued at the end of the summit of Heads of State and Government held in Istanbul on 15 June 1997"

Recently, i gave a detailed analysis on how Nigeria was represented at the All Islamic Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN got a wind of it and raised alarm but they were arrogantly ignored because the did is done!

Isn't that how Sukuk, the Islamic Bond was recently introduced in Nigeria and the Nigerian Government has since dumped billions of Nigerian Naira into the venture. But wait! What is Sukuk by the way? Sukuk is a Legal Instrument, Deed or Cheque - simply an Arabic name for Financial Certificates or some type of loans agreement. SUKUK is also regarded as, watch this, "Sharia-Compliant Bond!" The Fiqh Academy of the OIC legitimized the use of Sukuk in February of 1988. It is meant for full blown Sharia - Compliant Islamic Nations or Regions. Sukuk uses billions of Nigeria's collective wealth to issue Interest - Free loans to, i guess you know who...Again, the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN raised alarm, and like that of the Islamic Games, it fell on deaf arrogant ears! Why, because Nigerian Christians are TOAST!

Remember also that Nigeria is a full member of the Islamic Military Alliance, IMA, the Islamic world's impression of NATO. And Nigeria is also a full member of the OIC, Organization of Islamic Countries/Conferences.

Little wonder Nigeria recently pulled out of 90 International organizations to which it belonged. Ninety! We still don't have the list of those organizations. Obviously, D-8 isn't one of them.

So, can you just give me one reason why you still believe the lie that Nigeria is a secular state. And you won't support Restructuring?

CAN Commends FG on the Reinstatement of Christian Religious Studies and Islamic Studies as Separate Subjects

CAN COMMENDS FG on the REINSTATEMENT of CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS STUDIES and ISLAMIC STUDIES as SEPARATE SUBJECTS

The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is using this medium to register our sincere and deep appreciation to the Federal Government for reversing the controversial, unlawful, and ungodly merger of the Christian Religious Studies and the Islamic Religious Studies as a subject by the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC).

The merger of the two subjects had been rejected long before the emergence of this government because it was done without the consent of all stakeholders including CAN and all efforts made to reverse the ungodly policy were fruitless until now.

The reverse of the policy shows that we have a listening and sensitive government who is ready to reverse itself or any unacceptable policy when the need arises.

CAN also appreciates the timely intervention of the National Assembly in the saga that quickly doused the tension that was generated by the policy.

However, we ask the Federal Government to do the following:
1. Direct the NERDC to organise a seminar on the New Curriculum with a view to addressing all the grey areas in it especially topics that can promote rebellion in our children.
2. Mandate all state governments to recruit adequate teachers for the CRK especially in the North where most of the states have no teachers for the subject.
3. Ask the Federal Ministry of Education to review all the textbooks that are currently being used as some of them are encouraging ungodly practices like masturbation.

We appreciate all well meaning Nigerians, the media and the civil society for their roles while the controversy lasted.

We pray for divine guidance and wisdom for our political leaders as they lead the country.

You are pleased requested to disseminate this information to the public.

Thank you for your kind cooperation.

Pastor Adebayo Oladeji
Special Assistant (Media & Communications) to his eminence, the CAN President, Rev Samson Olasupo A. Ayokunle, Ph.D

ISLAMIC AGENDA : IS NIGERIA A FREE NATION OR A CONQUERED VASSAL STATE?

IS NIGERIA A FREE NATION OR A CONQUERED VASSAL STATE? https://t.co/E7QVazAxWz

IS NIGERIA A FREE NATION OR A CONQUERED VASSAL STATE?

"I freed a thousand slaves. I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves"- Harriet Tubman

How can anyone describe Nigeria as a free nation when Sheik Othman Dan Fodio, the hero of the core Muslim north, the father of the Fulani Caliphate and the first Mahdi of Nigeria once said,

"Allah has bestowed on me and my people the historic duty to spread the holy faith of the Prophet throughout the Caliphate and convert these pagans. If they refuse to accept Allah and his Prophet we will wash the earth, the forests, the mountains, the rivers and the streams with their pagan blood. Ours is a holy and righteous calling. We are doing the work of Allah".

How can anyone describe Nigeria as a free nation when Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Saurdana of Sokoto, the Premier of the Northern Region and the second Mahdi of Nigeria once said,

"The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the north as willing tools and the south as conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future".

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when General Muhammadu Buhari, the indisputable King of the north, the avenging sword of the Caliphate, the almighty President of the Federal Republic, the unquestionable leader of the African Mujahadeen and the third and last Mahdi of Nigeria once said,

"It is my intention to spread sharia to every part of Nigeria" and that "why should Christians bother when Muslims chop off the hands of Muslims in the name of sharia" and that "Muslims should only vote for Muslims" and finally that "an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north".

What portion do those of us that are southerners and Middle Belters have in this so-called "free country" and why have we been consistently denied the right to decide whether we wish to remain in it by having a referendum?

Were we born to be slaves whilst others were born to rule? God forbid it. My Christian faith teaches me that I am the head and not the tail.

It teaches me that it is a sore sight and a great evil under the sun to see the sons of slaves riding on horseback whilst the sons of the King walk around on bare feet.

It teaches me that we are the head and not the tail and that light is meant to overcome darkness and not that darkness overcomes the light.

The truth is that whichever way you look at it Nigeria is not free and Nigeria is not one nation.

We are in bondage and servitude to the sons and daughters of Futa Jalon and we are badly divided. That is the subject of this essay.

Permit me to share some bitter truths here.

I repeat, Nigeria is not a nation. As a matter of fact she was NEVER a nation. She is and has always been a monumental fraud and a manifestation of colonial Britain's doublespeak and deceit.

In 1947 she was rightly described as a "mere geographical expression" by Chief Obafemi Awolowo but since then she has degenerated even further.

Today she is is no longer a "mere geographical expression" but instead a fully-fledged and dysfunctional vassal state and a colony of timid slaves that is owned lock, stock and barrel by the all-powerful, all-seeing and all-knowing Fulani hegemonists.

Yet in their pitiful delusion and blissful ignorance some still claim that we are a free modern nation-state where all are equal.

My questions for those  that actually believe this nonsensical assertion and that espouse this erroneous notion are as follows:

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when Christian Religious Knowldge (CRK) is removed from the curriculum and Islamic Arabic Studies (IAS) is made compulsary?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when Christians are banned BY LAW from buying land to build churches in most parts of the core north?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when every single security and intelligence agency in the nation except for the Navy is headed by a northern Muslim?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when there are NO Christian commanders (i.e. those that have operational control over troop deployments) in charge of STRATEGIC commands in the Nigerian Army today?

How can anyone decribe Nigeria as being free when ALL the STRATEGIC commands in the Nigerian Army are in the hands of Muslims?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when ALL the units under the Education Ministry are headed by northern Muslims and the Minister of Education himself is a Muslim.

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when the words Christ, Church, Christianity or Christian are not mentioned ONCE in the constitution and when the word sharia is mentioned 73 times, Grand Khadi 54 times, Islam 29 times and Muslims 10 times.

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when, since Buhari came to power, any mention of Jesus or God is censored out of Nigerian films by the Nigerian Censors Board whilst the word Allah is mentioned freely.

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when there is an obvious and relentless attempt to islamise the country.

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when there was an attempt by President Buhari to quietly pass a law that will give large tracts of land to Fulani herdsmen in every state of the Federation so that they can infiltrate, settle down in, breed with and eventually overwhelm and take over all the communities in which they were given that land.

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when the Federal Government refuses to arrest the elderly Professor Ango Abdullahi and the rebellious, recalitrant, blood-baying and bloodthirsty Arewa youths and lock them ALL up for their implicit threat to commit genocide against the Igbo if they don't leave the north by 1st October?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when the Arewa Youths can send an open letter to the Acting President describing the entire Igbo race as ingrates who have "not learnt their lessons from the past" and who "ought to be thrown out of the north" and "out of Nigeria?"

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when the the Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) can tell the Federal Government that "Nigeria will boil", that there will be "a crisis that will spiral beyond control if the Arewa youths are arrested" and that "the Presidency will not be allowed to go to the south under any circumstances in 2019?"

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when well-armed Fulani militants and herdsmen commit genocide against whole communities  and yet not one of them has been arrested?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when cows (yes cows!) drive children out of their classrooms in Edo state and drive worshippers out of their churches in Benue state.

How can Nigeria be described as being free when Miyetti Allah appear to be above the law?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when we are about to enter a season of carnage, chaos and anomie and when the Federal Government have shown no desire or inclination to deliver our people from those who believe that they own Nigeria and who wish to drink our blood and eat our flesh?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when those in power today together with the entire Hausa-Fuani ruling class have consistently said no to restructuring?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when the cabal that know that Buhari's health will not allow him to come back to rule wish to use the slaughter of the Igbo as a reason and a scapegoat to cause CRISIS in the country and truncuate our democracy rather than allow a Southern Christian President to continue in power?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when the leaders of the ruling APC are considered as being above the law and continuously commit all manner of crimes and acts of corruption with impunity whilst dissenters, oppostion figures and the perceived enemies of the government are subjected to horrendous persecution, media trials and the brazen violation of their human rights and civil liberties?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when the welfare of cows and the interest of cattle-rearers are more important than that of hard-working and productive patriots and innocent young school children?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when, since Buhari came to power, it is very difficult for a northern Christian to get admission into Ahmadu Bello University, the leading institution of higher learning in northern Nigeria?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free  when there is a strange Arabic insignia and unintelligible Arabic words apparantly depicting Othman Dan Fodio's battle cry inscribed on the coat of arms of the Nigerian Army.

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when english is replaced with hausa in Nigerian army parades?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when President Muhammadu Buhari openly expresses his disdain for the Igbo and encourages the hate-speech and threats that they are being subjected to today?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when Acting President Yemi Osinbajo will allege that there is corruption in the Church but dare not allege that there is corruption in the mosques?

How can anyone describe Nigeria as being free when the Acting President condemns what he describes as "hate speech" yet he refuses to arrest and detain those who not only kill Christians, southerners and Middle Belters but who also incite their murderous footsoldiers against them every day?

I could go on and on.

What those that continuosly threaten others with violence and carnage fail to appreciate is as follows: for every mujahadeen there is a crusader. For every tyrant there is a deliverer. For every oppressor there is a freedom fighter. For every globalist there is a nationalist.

For every integrationist there is a separatist. For every lily-livered and chicken-hearted coward there is a courageous and valiant hero and for every Goliath there is a David.

Yet despite our collective and pitiful servitude there is a silver lining on this very dark cloud.

The demand for restructuring or, failing that, self-determination and full-blown independence is now very strong amongst the progressive forces and the long-oppressed ethnic nationalities in the land.

This, coupled with the demand by the leaders of the three southern zones that the Arewa youths must withdraw their threat to the Igbo, is commendable and historic.

They have also issued a timely warning that an attack on the Igbo would be deemed as an attack on the entire south. This gives us hope.

This indicates to us that the tree of liberty will soon be watered by the blood of the patriots and tyrants as it once was in the history of each and every one of the great western democracies.

This proves that we are finally ready to pay the terrible price for our collective freedom and to make the necessary sacrifices.

Simply put, the yoke and affliction of slavery and bondage shall soon be broken and Nigeria shall soon be free.

The first Nigerian civil war was about keeping Nigeria one. The second will be about winning our freedom.

LAUTECH WILL BE GREAT AGAIN!

See The Punch Newspaper May 30, 2017 page 41.

THE CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA,
OGBOMOSO ZONE

A PLEA TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO TAKE OVER LAUTECH:
THE ONLY FEASIBLE PANACEA FOR THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THE UNIVERSITY

OUR CONCERNS
1. The lingering incessant strike action paralyzing academic activities in LAUTECH and strangulating her administrative system has become a matter of great concern to the Heads of Churches and Christian Association of Nigeria in Ogbomosoland.

2. The wanton wasting away of the lives, time and future of our youths and children who are students of this institution has become worrisome and disturbing to all discerned minds.

3. On several occasions, students have been sent out of school as a result of avoidable strike action spanning eleven (11) months. This has exposed the vulnerable youngsters to unscrupulous pressures; various types of accidents, high rate of criminality and untimely deaths while many have become redundant and frustrated because they are not able to constructively dissipate their pent-up energy.

4. Workers, both teaching and non-teaching are grossly impoverished as a result of non-payment of salaries and arrears, which, of course is the major reason for the incessant strike actions rocking the one time best state university in Nigeria. As at now, workers of LAUTECH are being owed eight (8) months salaries and arrears pilling up in years. Yet, neither the Governing Council nor the proprietors of the university is speaking or doing anything serious to address this crass maladministration! Staff morale is generally low.

5. Apparently, the concomitant effects of the sorry state of LAUTECH on the well-being of the staffers of the institution are far reaching: several of them are not able to attend to their medical bills, perform their duties as parents and meet critical domestic and social obligations.

6. Suffice to add that the experience of JAMBITES who were supposed to write their 2017 UTME at LAUTECH was not a palatable one and it constitutes a disgrace to our social dignity and collective integrity as a nation!

7. The host community is also badly hit by the wave of the crisis. The commerce of the city is in comatose because LAUTECH staffers constitute a bunch of her population.  As elders in the host community, parents of these LAUTECH students and patriotic citizens of this country, the lives and future of our children are so precious to us that we cannot afford to see them struggle with these precarious situations and challenges that are beyond them.

8. From the look of things, the situation is beyond the power of the two owner states, or so it seems. All efforts said to have been made before now by the two owner states seem not yielding any desired result. As we speak, the governments of Oyo and Osun States have refused to make the reports of the much celebrated Wole Olanipekun Visitation Panel public! Too many questions are begging for answers here.

9. The proposed audit exercise recently muted by the university visitors is a welcome development. Such exercise is a conventional procedural oversight responsibility of proprietors of growing organizations and ivory towers, provided it is not just a ploy to tactically buy time, disintegrate the university or sack some of these hapless employees with reckless impunity. However, we opine that it will be counter-productive and seriously unhealthy to further keep the students and workers away from classroom while the audit is ongoing.

OUR HUMBLE PLEAS
1. As we appreciate and commend the hallowed efforts of the governments of Oyo and Osun States over LAUTECH imbroglio, we plead with all that are concerned especially the Federal Government, the National Assembly, Federal Ministry of Education and Nigerian University Commission (NUC) to urgently come to the RESCUE of LAUTECH by taking it over as a Federal University.

2. This will not only rescue the lives and destinies of almost thirty thousand (30,000) current students of the university (and several other desperate candidates awaiting admission), it will also put a permanent pay to the lingering crisis and rekindles the faith of all stakeholders in the leadership of our country.

3.  Ipso facto, as of today, given human nature, especially in Africa, a joint venture stands the risk of unequal commitment sired by varied interests. What belongs to everybody actually belongs to nobody. Therefore, no matter how much the partners strive to pretend that these differences do not exist, they will come to the surface. This is the scenario playing out between Oyo and Osun in the case of funding of the institution. Or, how does one justify a situation where Osun as at April 30, 2017 owes almost 5.4 billion naira while Oyo owes almost 2.7 billion naira to the university?

4. In the whole of Nigeria, it is only LAUTECH that has dual ownership. Other states that found themselves in similar situations have peacefully shared assets and liabilities. This is what Prof Mafiana – led team from NUC tried to achieve in 2011 before the current administrations in Oyo and Osun came to throw spanners into it. Why is it that the university is the only monument they agreed to retain as a legacy of their common heritage? What of Colleges of Education in Oyo and Osun States, The Polytechnic Ibadan, and other higher institutions of learning located within the territories of the two states at the time of creation of Osun State?

5. It is clear to all and sundry that the experiment (Joint Ownership of LAUTECH) has failed. The only pragmatic way - forward is to embrace reality and allow peaceful parting of ways rather than the present pejorative and arrant grandstanding by the two governors. Sad to find out that there has been no capital grants to the university since almost 10 years ago! Major developments have been undertaken through Federal Government interventions; courtesy of TetFund Scheme!

6. The world is watching! Quick, noble, decisive and positive actions that can proffer both immediate and long-term solutions to this impasse will be expected from the NUC, Federal Ministry of Education, the National Assembly and other pertinent agencies of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

ISLAMIC AGENDA IN NIGERIA : PERSPECTIVES AND PERSECUTION

THE CORRECT APPRECIATION OF NIGERIA'S POLITICAL SITUATION

1. It is said that the voluntary surrender of power in 1979 to Alhaji Shehu Shagari gave the military, as then represented by Olusegun Obasanjo, a sanctimonious self-righteous air of being Nigeria's custodian of democracy and moral conscience. However, the National Christian Elders' Forum (NCEF) sees things differently to wit: that the handing over of power in 1979 was a stage in the promotion of Islamism in Nigeria. The reasons for the 1966 coup may be obscure but the fact remains that the first Law passed by the Independent Nigerian Parliament was the Emergency Act of 1961, signed by Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe within months of Independence. This was an unusual way of celebrating freedom from colonial rule.

2.         The Western Region Emergency situation was contrived and stage-managed; we remember the cry "fire on the mountain, run, run, run" by both Kensington Momoh and Lekan Salami that led to "operation wetie" followed by rigged Western Elections, then the State of Emergency declared contrary to the provisions of the Constitution.  All of the above led to the Civil War of 1967 – 1970. The group of army officers (mostly Muslim), headed by Murtala Mohammed in 1966 that staged the July revenge coup of that year continue to form the pillar of all succeeding military and civilian  regimes including the 2015 Elections that brought Muhammadu Buhari to power a second time, as was done for Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999.

3.         The Vanguard of Saturday, May 13, 2017 at page 5 in an article captioned "Power Struggle How Buhari's Letter was Muddled", part of which read that:  "as a military leader, he [Buhari] had Tunde Idiagbon and some other acting in private capacity, even still powerful in the present government" makes it clear that the cabal or some others acting in private capacity are the Islamists.  In other words, since 1975 the Islamists gained power in Nigeria and have, since then, employed jihad as instrument for governance. Cabal is defined as a group of people united in some close design together to promote sectional views or ideology often by intrigue unknown to persons outside the group or cabal.

4.         The Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) and Lieutenants (Lt) of 1966 created successive dynasties of military regimes and civilian governments. Since then and now, majority of them were Muslims.  Today, one of them, once again, is the President of Nigeria. The military governed with popular appeal and little opposition and thus became the alternative rulers of Nigeria while some officers retired to become traditional rulers.

It is often said that the Army resort to politics was "akin to setting an exam prior to attending lecture", using the Gowon case who went to study politics that earned him a Phd after being Head of State of Nigeria for nine years (1966 – 1975).  In the opinion of the NCEF, this is an incorrect assessment.

5.         The Muslim officers who spearheaded the overthrow of General Gowon, on the eve of handing over power, came prepared especially Shehu Yar'adua and Ibrahim Babangida. They were fully prepared by the Muslim Brotherhood that provided the ideology of Islamism and the strategy for its operations.  This explains why the coups by Christian soldiers always failed e.g. the 1966 coup mainly by Ibadan University and Sandhurst graduates, 1976 Dimka coup, Orkar coup of 1990, all failed woefully. The Muslim brotherhood Islamists introduced legal political and military doctrines into Islam to become what is eventually known as Political Islam.  The final objective is the defeat of Democracy and the enthronement of a world Caliphate, through the doctrine of Sharia. Sharia is an immutable, compulsory system the Muslims are obliged to install and the world required to adopt. Failure to do so is declared to be damnable offence against Allah.  Sharia is not a private matter.

6.         Islamists see Democracy as an obstacle to overcome, a culture and civilization that cannot be embraced or even tolerated.  It is impossible for the Islamists to tolerate alternative legal systems and forms of government for peaceful co-existence with other forms of culture or civilization. The implication is that Sharia promotes jihad. Stealth and regular jihads are the same i.e. to achieve the same result – those in Aso Villa that practice stealth jihad, the Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram are the same. Muslim Brotherhood (MB) is the most important entity promoting Sharia in the world.  It is very clear that the Muslim groups in Nigeria are front groups for Muslim Brotherhood and relies on MB's resource base, leadership and strategy.  The aim is to destroy Western civilization from within and ensure the takeover of the political authority by Sharia. Thus, ensuring triumph of Islam and the installation of the Caliphate is a must especially when Nigeria already has the Sokoto Caliphate.

7.         National Intelligence, Law Enforcement and Security leadership in Nigeria have been taken over by the Islamists.  The Islamists are at war (jihad) with the rest of Nigerians who are considered unbelievers and those of different Islamic sects such as the Shiites who have a different interpretation of the meaning of jihad.

8.         Examples of stealth jihad Whittling down of a chapter of the Constitution on Human Rights by excessive provisos to bring it into conformity with Sharia which stipulates that humans have no rights, as all rights belong to AllahCreation of States and Local Government skewed in favour of the 'Muslim' NorthThe numerous provisions in the Constitution for Sharia and Sharia related issues without relative provision for Christianity and Christian issues. Section 162(2) on Public Revenue is skewed in favour of 'Muslim' North as, for example, the consideration of landmass, which, ordinarily, should be an asset but is used to provide more Revenue Illogicality of military decrees becoming the Constitution, all of the above and more constitute stealth Jihad. Examples of regular Jihad are (i) Boko Haram (ii) Fulani Herdsmen and other similar organizations in Nigeria. It is stealth Jihad to prevent Christians and others from having political parties they can call their own while Islamists own all the over 40 political parties.

9.         Recommendations:
(a)       There should be a New Constitution to replace the one in use that has Sharia inclined military decrees grafted into it.  There is need for proper understanding of the nature of Sharia by non-Islamist Nigerians in order to keep Nigeria Sharia free
(b)       Discard Sharia compliant Finance and Banking Acts
(c)       Set up a Truth and Reconciliation Commission
(d)       Establish a Law Review Commission to isolate Sharia in our statute books

10.        Islamist Politicians in action in Nigeria
Walter Onnoghen CJN, was reported in The Nation of Saturday, May 13, 2017 at page 5, while delivering Judgment in the case of Abia State Governorship tussle to have reacted thus: "there is need for member of the political class to re-examine themselves in the present dispensation and to save and protect Democracy in the country --- There is no problem that the politicians are in charge of the Executive and Legislative, but please keep out of the Judiciary".  For a better understanding, the NCEF submits that politicians, in this context, mean Islamists who are also in charge of the Judiciary.  This feat, the Islamists were able to achieve, through stealth jihad over the years.

11.         To suggest that Nigeria cannot be Islamized is to exhibit ignorance as Nigeria is populated half by Christians and half by Muslims.  How many Christians are in the Federal Judiciary, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, Federal High Court and the Court of the Federal Territory of Abuja?  It cannot be 50:50 but 60% Muslims and 40% Christians. This is not to say that all 60% Muslim Justices and Judges are Islamists but the truth is that Muslim provides the sea in which the Islamist swim in".  Above all, no Islamist or Muslim is loyal to the Nigerian Constitution but only to the Quran and they have never hidden this fact.  The need for peaceful co-existence has to be further discussed especially issues concerning the Rule of Law not Rule of might or superiority of Religion over the Law.

12.        For a correct appreciation of the Nigerian situation, the word 'cabal' should be substituted with the word 'Islamists'.  A proper understanding of the Nigerian situation by Christians will help, in no small measure, to prevent violence and deaths that may follow if Islamist Taqiyya (deceit) manifests further. Political problems require political solutions. Islamists/rulers in Nigeria seem to see themselves as successors to the British colonial masters, having partnered the British to rule Northern Nigeria.  *The Islamists do not see Nigeria as a country but part of a Sultanate established by Usman Dan Fodio in early 18th Century which explains why the Nigeria Constitution and Rule of Law are treated with contempt.*

13.        *This state of affairs could never have happened without the collaboration of Christian proxies.*  These facts notwithstanding, it is time that Christians call the Islamists bluff in Nigeria. Core Christians do not have a political party and Catholic Priests and Pastors have to fill the gap, a job they have done poorly, because the Clergy failed to appreciate the fact that Islamism is a political movement which requires to be countered by a Christian political party for the promotion of  Democracy and Rule of Law.  The reason for the poor performance can be attributed to the infiltration of the Churches by the Islamist Intelligence Service and cultists who compromise the Clergy by corrupting them.  We, non-Islamists, have a duty save them from themselves.

14.        It is very clear that since the Islamists, in various names including Enforcers, Cabal, Politician, Presidency etc. encroached into democracy and subsequently succeeded in overthrowing democracy and replacing it with Islamism the end result has been poverty, inequality and corruption. All non-Islamist Nigerians must join hands together to defeat by constitutional means the Islamists that are the present rulers (owners) of Nigeria.

FREEDOM FOR NIGERIA FROM YOKES

VANGUARD NEWSA Nigerian newspaper and Online version of the Vanguard, a daily publication in Nigeri

» The Seven-Fold Yoke And The Cabal That Own Nigeria

The Seven-Fold Yoke And The Cabal That Own Nigeria ON APRIL 12, 20178:11 AMIN NEWS, VIEWPOINT0 COMMENTS Permit me to share a scholarly, revealing and I daresay disturbing intervention which was sent to me by a friend. The author wishes to remain anonymous. He wrote as follows: "The disruptive power of the Hausa-Fulani cabal is a structural reality and will only get worse, no matter where the President of Nigeria comes from. It is a seven-fold yoke which we must break for the sake of our children.

1. THE POLITICAL YOKE: Globally, out of the 16 Federal Republics in the world, Nigeria is the only federation where land mass is used as a primary criteria for creating federating units. NO Southern leader (civilian or military) has ever had the guts to create any federating unit; all the federating units have been created by Northern military adventurers. 20 federating units were created from only one region (North), while 17 federating units were created from 3 regions (East, West and Midwest). Competent leaders are easily filtered off by the rigged political structure. At every election, the evil and corrupt Northern cabal needs only a few Southern collaborators to impose any presidential candidate upon the two foremost political parties, only for the electorate to formalize one of the candidates with votes. That's why Nigeria has been having such mediocre leaders as President, in a country awash with extremely capable presidential materials. This also explains why since 1960 no Southerner has ever led Nigeria except by accident. The FIRST coming of ALL 3 Southern leaders – Aguiyi-Ironsi in 1966, Obasanjo in 1976 and Goodluck Jonathan in 2010 – followed the death of Northern incumbents! The fourth and only other Southern leader was Ernest Shonekan and his coming followed the forced "stepping aside" of a northern Head of State in 1993. He lasted for 3 months after which he was toppled and replaced by another northern military Head of State. For 2019 the presidential contest is being set for Atiku vs Buhari- two Fulani representatives of the Cabal. Femi Fani-Kayode

 2. THE ECONOMIC YOKE: Nigeria is the only oil-producing country where oil wells are allocated to individuals. The Hausa-Fulani cabal allocated over 80% of the oil blocks either to the Northerners or to their Southern fronts/allies. The names of these oil block allotees are in the public domain.

 3. THE RELIGIOUS YOKE: No other faith is mentioned in the Nigerian Constitution, except Islam. For instance, in the 1999 Constitution, Christ, Christians and Christianity are not mentioned even once; whereas Islamic signposts are strewn all over the Constitution – Sharia is mentioned 73 times, Grand Khadi 54 times, Islam 28 times , Muslims 10 times, etc.. That Constitution was written SOLELY by one Muslim Fulani Jihadist named Prof. Auwalu Yadudu (Special Adviser to Abacha on Constitutional Matters). While the 1979 Constitution emphasized Nigeria's secularity, the 1999 Constitution of Yadudu is a de facto Islamic Constitution, and the Cabal ensured that Yadudu was there to fight that position at 2014 National Political Conference. Subsequently, during Obasanjo's govt, the same Northern cabal formally adopted Islam as the State Religion in the core Northern States. Obasanjo refused to even discuss the issue, except to state that it would 'fizzle out'. He knew fully well that it would not 'fizzle out' but was afraid of confronting the cabal.

4. THE CULTURAL YOKE: The Sultanate forms a major pillar of the Hausa-Fulani cabal. As permanent President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) the Sultan is the permanent leader of all Muslims in Nigeria (whether they are Northerners or Southerners). As the Permanent Chairman of National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN) the Sultan is the permanent leader of all traditional rulers in all 36 States of Nigeria & Abuja. By the way, the current Sultan was the Brigadier-General Commanding 241 Recce Battalion Kaduna. Many public policies are determined only with the tacit approval of the Sultanate of Sokoto and the Emirates. For instance, when the Gender Bill was introduced in the National Assembly, the Sultan 'killed' the Bill simply by criticizing it publicly. Even Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (the world's most revered monarch) would never criticize Parliament publicly, because that would be an abuse of royal privilege.

5. THE ADMINISTRATIVE YOKE: Nigeria is the only African country that built a new capital from scratch (using resources from the oppressed, deprived and degraded Niger Delta/South East ). The Cabal claimed that the location of Lagos by the ocean was a security risk, but this was just an excuse to Northernize national public service. A careful look at the map of Africa shows that only 2 nations have central capitals. The most common location for African capitals is at the coast. London (United Kingdom) is situated at the edge of England on the River Thames. Washington DC (USA) is located along the Potomac River on the East Coast of USA. Paris (France) is located at the edge of France in the north-bending arc of the river Seine. When Lagos was capital the Governors of Lagos State were from East, West and North. Since the Capital moved to Abuja, NO Nigerian leader has ever had the guts to appoint a Southerner as substantive FCT Minister. The FCT Minister must be a Northerner, preferably a Muslim (the current FCT Minister was appointed while he was Executive Secretary of the Hajj Commission).

6. THE DIPLOMATIC YOKE: Any Christian leader who questions Nigeria's membership of the two main international Sharia-driven bodies (OIC & D-8) faces the wrath of the Hausa-Fulani Cabal. So far, only Cdr Ebitu Ukiwe has ever had the guts to seriously question Nigeria's involvement in these Islamic bodies and as a result Ukiwe was summarily dismissed from office.

7. THE MILITARY/SECURITY YOKE: Nigeria is the only Federation in the world where all MAJOR security agencies are headed by only one section of the Federation and only members of one faith. Army – Northern Muslim. National Security Advisor – Northern Muslim. Minister of Defence – Northern Muslim. Minister of Internal Affairs- Northern Muslim. Airforce – Northern Muslim. Police – Northern Muslim. Economic Financial Crimes Commission- Northern Muslim. National Civil Defence Corps – Northern Muslim. Department of State Security – Northern Muslim. Immigration– Northern Muslim. Prisons Service– Northern Muslim. Federal Road Safety Corps – Northern Muslim. Nigerian Customs Service – Northern Muslim. Chief of Defence Intelligence – Northern Muslim. Director of Military Intelligence – Northern Muslim. Fire Service – Northern Muslim. National Emergency Management Agency – Northern Muslim. Nigerian Ports Authority- Northern Muslim. No southerner has been made substantive Comptroller General of Customs in 30 years. Even with all his braggadocio, Olusegun Obasanjo dared not break the jinx in all this years as Nigeria's President. Again no southerner has ever been appointed as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission since the day it was established in 2003.

Finally the only southerner that was EVER appointed National Security Advisor was killed after he was unceremoniously removed from office by Goodluck Jonathan after the cabal blackmailed and arm-twisted him and told him that if he wanted peace he must appoint a northerner back to that post. The above multi-faceted enslavement to the Hausa-Fulani Cabal is not an accident. Read the book by Harold Wilson which clearly states how and why the British laid the foundation for the Hausa-Fulani hegemony in Nigeria.

The principle guiding the Cabal was clearly set forth by the cabal's patron saint, Sir Ahmadu Bello who said to the media: "The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the north as willing tools and the south as a conquered territory and NEVER ALLOW THEM TO RULE OVER US and NEVER ALLOW THEM TO HAVE CONTROL OVER THEIR OWN FUTURE." – (The Parrot Newspaper, October 12, 1960). Freedom from the Cabal is NOT about "North versus South". In fact, the greatest victims of the Northern cabal are the Northern masses themselves.

The struggle entails "Northern Cabal versus All of Lovers of Freedom". Nigeria is structurally unworkable and MUST EITHER BE RESTRUCTURED OR BROKEN. The Hausa-Fulani cabal will resist this with their blood, but there is no other way out of the enslavement for us and our children. We cannot continue 'suffering and smiling' in this un-restructured zoo called Nigeria. The words of Harriet Tubman are relevant here. She said, 'I freed a thousand slaves: I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves' ". The author of this brilliant intervention has given us plenty of food for thought. He argued the matter in a detailed, succinct and concise manner and he stated the case very well. Though there were one or two omissions, his research is outstanding and his analysis is factual, insightful and incisive. The truth is that he has said it all. Sadly many in Nigeria do not know that they are slaves to the cabal because they cannot feel the yoke or see their chains. Yet slaves they are and it is time that we opened their eyes, broke their yokes, cut their chains and freed each and every one of them. That is precisely why yours truly, and millions of others, insist on restructuring our country or, failing that, dividing her and going our separate ways. May God deliver us. Happy Easter. (CONCLUDED).

LESSONS IN RESURRECTION STORIES

LESSONS IN RESURRECTION STORIES

The reality of resurrection is  written in the Bible.  Any denial does not reduce the potency of the power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead . The specific post crucifixion section being considered here  is contained in John 19:23-24 KJV. Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. [24] They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.. The three major lessons are;

1. Materialism is not the goal of genuine spirituality.  The gospel of health and wealth doesn't capture the true meaning of biblical prosperity. It is suspected that the commitment of the Roman army to the death of Jesus Christ may be remotely connected to the sharing of his garments. By inference,  people engage in acquisition of wealth and possessions without cognizance for the righteousness taught in the scripture. When we acquire wealth without considering the pain others will go through; it is ungodly.   God's judgement is inevitable . Whoever loves money never has enough  money ; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. .
Paul wrote to Timothy, But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.(1 Timothy 6:4-11). David gave a better conclusion,  We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it.(Ps.39:6). Is it clothes that matter or salvation received by the thief on the cross?
2. Gambling should not be a means to becoming rich. This is a timeless truth  that any believer's genuine love for God must transcend  his or her  love for material gain.  As in gambling and like a trophy of war, the soldiers at the cross of Jesus did "try your luck" to see who would get the last apparel Jesus put on. This is  a process that doesn't represent biblical  approach to get divine power to make wealth. (Deut 8:18). A called minister of the living God would read this section of the casting lot about Jesus' garment with  broken  heart that  the love for His garment blindfolded the army and led to their failure to appropriate  his mercy. We must not gamble or engage in any form of betting.

3. Avoid Profiting from the problem of others.  One of the real problems with security and law enforcement agencies is intimidation to extort and profit from mistake made.  They capitalise on the fact that the law doesn't excuse ignorance.  Some medical personnels and institutions do use occasions of pain and expediency  for remedy as a catchment for their economic advantage.  Recently,  an Auto Electrician Expert brought computer to rectify the malfunctioning of a CRV. Before doing anything,  he insisted on =N=40,000.00 (Forty Thousand Naira ) They eventually negotiated it to 50% reduction.  It took him 10mins to imput  a secret code.  The suspicion that the job was a syndicate plan to extort cannot be ruled out.  Why do we engage in inhumanity against fellow men.  Pilate,  Herod,  Roman Soldiers etc  are human beings like us.  We must not use people's predicament as platform to promote our ego. We must be helpful to those who enter into problems.

MAXIMIZING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUCCESS

MAXIMIZING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUCCESS
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. Ecclesiastes 9:11
Opportunities are divine advantages or privileges, requiring human activation for progress. They are open doors providing access to success for anyone bold enough to confront the imminent challenges. The irony of life is that opportunities are being perceived wrongly. Winston Churchill substantiate this fact when he said that "A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty." Opportunities are bridges. They link our potentials with possibilities, our skills with success and our competence with excellence.
Human attitude and aptitude to opportunities will essentially determine their altitude of success in life. Opportunities are timely interventions that demand maximum human response without which they are seconded to another. Remember Judas (Acts 1:20) the pertinent  question to ask is how can we maximize our opportunities for success?
Recognize the goal you intend to achieve through the opportunity.
Strategize the necessary steps required to maximize your opportunity.
Minimize every thought that diminishes or denigrates opportunities.
Mobilize your faith towards maximization of the opportunity.
Fraternize with people who value opportunities.
Utilize opportunities by taking action.
Actualize your goal by cherishing little opportunities.
It is often said that, opportunities come once in a lifetime. The reality is that opportunities are everywhere around us every day. Dont cry over the split milk of yesterdays failure and blind your eyes with the accumulated tears of a low self esteem. Cheer up and look up, Jesus said, "Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. John 4:35. This implies endless opportunities awaiting our activation for celebration.
In conclusion, Martin Luther asserts that "Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals."
